Christine M. Jurusik is a Managing Partner at Richards and Jurusik and practices exclusively in the area of U.S.and Canadian immigration law. Since 2008, Christine has helped American citizens overcome Canadian criminal inadmissibility issues, with a particular focus on DUI-related entry matters. She regularly assists U.S. travelers seeking to enter or return to Canada after criminal convictions through Temporary Resident Permits (TRPs), Criminal Rehabilitation applications, and admissibility assessments under Canadian law. As a dual-licensed attorney in both the United States and Canada, Christine brings a unique advantage to these cross-border immigration matters, allowing her to work within both legal systems and provide strategic guidance in complex inadmissibility and immigration cases.

Christine’s U.S. practice focuses on family and business immigration matters, representing individuals, families, entrepreneurs, and companies navigating the U.S. immigration system. She has extensive experience assisting Canadian citizens with U.S. immigration solutions, especially TN, E-1, E-2, and L-1, visas, as well as employment-based permanent residence applications. She advises families on marriage-based immigration, consular processing, and adjustment of status matters, with particular experience helping Canadian-American couples successfully navigate their U.S. marriage based permanent residence applications.

Christine received a Bachelor of Arts from University of St. Michael’s College at the University of Toronto and earned her LL.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School. She is licensed to practice law in both New York and Ontario and is a citizen of both Canada and the United States.
