AARON AISEN, ESQ. handles immigration processing delays and other types of immigration matters in federal court. He has considerable experience in federal court, which includes clerking for two federal judges and litigating various claims including immigration cases. These immigration cases include Petitions for Writs of Mandamus in immigration application delays cases, Petitions for Writs of Habeas Corpus, and Petitions for Review in the 2nd Circuit. He and a colleague won a six-figure judgement in favor of their client after a full federal jury trial in a Section 1983 civil rights case. He has also successfully resolved immigration processing delay cases without going to litigation by working with the Department of Justice and USCIS.
Aaron also brings to his immigration practice a decade of experience in handling other sophisticated legal work that helps him represent his clients before the government and in court. He has represented financial and insurance entities before state and federal regulators, advised on cybersecurity and data privacy, and litigated various matters including consumer protection, civil rights, commercial litigation, landlord and tenant issues, personal injury, and traffic-related cases. He has also worked on various transactions including corporate formations. He has published extensively on various legal topics. In Fall 2023, he partnered with an Assistant United States Attorney to train federal court law clerks on immigration issues in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of New York.
Aaron is also the principal attorney at Aisen Law, PLLC in Buffalo, New York. He graduated from The George Washington University with a BA in International Affairs, from Brigham Young University with a Master of Public Administration (with honors), and from the University at Buffalo Law School with a Juris Doctor (with honors). Aaron is active in his church and community.
He is admitted to practice in New York and the District of Columbia and in the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Northern, Southern, and Western Districts of New York, the District of Nebraska, and the District of Columbia. He is also admitted to practice before the United States Courts of Appeal for the Second Circuit and the District of Columbia Circuit, and the Supreme Court of the United States.
