USCIS Update

On March 17, 2023, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) extended the FY 2024 H-1B Cap Initial Registration Period from Friday, March 17, 2023, at Noon EST until Monday, March 20, 2023, at 5 pm EST.

Why was the FY 2024 H-1B registration period extended?

USCIS indicated that on Thursday, March 16, 2023, some users were not able to complete the H-1B registration process. USCIS has corrected this technical issue. Due to the technical difficulties users experienced during the registration process,  USCIS extended the registration period and will now accept registrations until 5:00 p.m. Eastern on Monday, March 20, 2023.

Did the USCIS technical issues impact the already submit FY 2024 H-1B registrations?

USCIS indicated that the technical issues did not impact any FY 2024 H-1B registrations that were already paid and completed.

As an employer, how do we submit an H1B Cap Registration for 2024?
