On September 26, 2022, the Government of Canada announced that starting Oct. 1, 2022, international travelers will be able to enter Canada without providing proof of vaccination, taking a pre-arrival test, or undergoing quarantine. This includes an end to mask requirements on domestic planes and trains, as well as ArriveCAN application prior to entry to Canada.
What impact will this change have on travel to the United States?
This announcement ONLY impacts travel to Canada. As of now, the United States has not lifted COVID measures for travel to the United States or for US Immigration purposes. All COVID measures for the United States for immigration purposes remain in place.
