How do I request NVC to expedite my case?

Once your USCIS I-130 Petition for a foreign relative has been approved by US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), the case is then forwarded to the National Visa Center (NVC). The NVC acts between USCIS and the US Consulate or Embassy where your relative is located to collect additional information and evidence before the immigrant visa interview can be scheduled. The immigrant visa interview will not be scheduled until NVC clears the case for the interview. Sometimes this process can take several months. Once you have submitted all the requirements documents to the National Visa Center (NVC) and your case has been documentarily qualified, you will be scheduled for the next available interview at your US Consulate or Embassy. The TN Visa under USMCA (NAFTA) makes it easier for Canadian and Mexican citizens to legally work and live in the United States. The TN Visa is a nonimmigrant visa that is valid for up to three (3) years at a time and can be renewed indefinitely. Technically, anyone with a nonimmigrant visa that meets the permanent residency requirements may apply for a green card. However, the “intent to stay,” can create problems for a TN Visa holder.
