When should I contact NVC about my immigrant visa case?
You should only contact the NVC if your case is outside the listed processing times. Once you have submitted an inquiry you should not make any additional inquiries until NVC has responded. Submitting multiple inquiries delays NVC response times and creates unnecessary case delays.
