Applying for a TN or L-1 Visa in Buffalo, New York? Follow these three steps:

1. Appointment Required

The Port of Buffalo, comprising vital entry points like the Fort Erie/Buffalo Peace Bridge, Niagara Falls/Rainbow Bridge, and Lewiston Queenston Bridge, requires advanced appointments for processing TN and L-1 Visa applications. Walk-in appointments are not accepted, emphasizing the importance of prior scheduling.

To schedule your appointment, contact the Port of Buffalo at (716) 843-8521, available Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. EST. Upon confirmation, you’ll receive a unique number. Visa application processing appointments are facilitated Monday through Friday, between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. EST.

2. Scheduling Your Appointment in Advance

Given the high demand for appointments at the Port of Buffalo, slots fill up swiftly. For a successful visa application, we recommend scheduling your appointment at least two weeks before your intended application date. This proactive approach ensures availability and avoids unnecessary delays.

3. Early Submission of Documents

In specific scenarios, submitting your application documents in advance can be advantageous. Once your appointment is scheduled, utilize the USCBP Electronic Secured Adjudication Forms Environment (e-SAFE) to submit your documents to BuffaloUSMCA@cbp.dhs.gov. Remember to include your confirmation number.
